As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of sampling their famous 5-inch corn tortilla tacos, bursting with flavorful meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa verde. The combination of textures and tastes in each bite was simply outstanding. One of their must-try dishes is the 10-inch burrito, loaded with Mexican rice, pinto beans, onions, cilantro, salsa verde, and your choice of meat. The blend of ingredients creates a symphony of flavors that will leave your taste buds craving more.

I met Alejandro and his wife at their food cart at a charity golf event a few weeks ago. Their carnitas street tacos were delicious. Decided to stop by their Kapahulu location last week. Fun ambience, great bar and nice dining area. They had a one man band for entertainment. I had a combo carne asada and carnitas wet 10" burrito per Alejandro's recommendation at the golf course. It was delicious, the best burrito I've had on Oahu. I can't wait to return for more authentic Mexican dishes.

Consistently Solid: A Go-To Spot for Mexican Delights For years, the Kapahulu location of this restaurant has been my tried-and-true spot. The convenience of ordering online and picking up takeout has made it a go-to (I have yet to dine in here), and the parking in the back, while limited, has never posed a major issue. Our favorites include the wet burritos, chicken quesadilla, and flavorful tacos. Recently, I stumbled upon the Mexibowl, which has become my perfect choice for lighter days when I want to savor the flavors without feeling overly stuffed. What's remarkable is that this consistency extends beyond Kapahulu; I gave the Pearl City location a shot, and it lived up to the high standards set by its counterpart. If you're in the mood for reliably excellent Mexican cuisine, this place is a sure bet.

Very good casual neighborhood establishment with above average margaritas and authentic Mexican tacos. Above average margarita not only good quality tequila but good Margaret is mix as well. Not powder or bad mix that kills the flavor of the good tequila. Service is just ok. You have to order you food from what seems like a takeout counter then sit and someone brings your food to your table. If you sit at the bar, at least the bartender can order your food as well as serve you drinks. Weird when we did sit at a table we were able to order from TM and themes the bartend Lee so to kind of worked out. Will we come back. Most certainly. We've frequented here a bunch of time. Wife likes the carnitas tacos and i like the burritos carne asada.

Actually very decent Mexican food, we should know, we live in NYC. Interesting setup, take menu up the counter to order your meal and pay. The kitchen staff then deliver your meal in take out containers. Even under this process the wait staff is fairly attentive and also very quick to clear your table. There was live music for our enjoyment. The bar is self serve as well and the bartender will run a tap for you.
